gained fame as an actor on the show Saturday Night Live. After that, Ferrell
starred in many other big-screen comedies, including 'Elf,’
"Anchorman," and "Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in
Irvine in 1967. He started his comedy career as a member the Los Angeles-based
group The Groundlings. His seven-year-long time as a Saturday Night Live cast
member made him one of the biggest comedy stars in the film industry. He was
famous for off-color hits like Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and
Old School (2003). Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die video streaming service. He
was also successful in the role of a voice actor on animated features such as
Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on July 16 1967 in Irvine,
California. Will Ferrell is the eldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist
Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he wasn't exactly the class clown while his
time at University High School. Studious and somewhat quiet, Ferrell chose to
make his mark on the field of football and set a school record for the most
field goals he scored. Ferrell's suburban house wasn't the best place for his
outrageous and funny outbursts later to define his career.
